Singer, Oritsefemi, beaten up at Quilox night club in Lagos

Singer Oritsefemi was on Friday night beaten up by bouncers at upscale Lagos night club, Quilox. According to eyewitnesses, Oritsefemi came to the club with some of his friends to relax and sat at a section where the owner of the club, Shina Peller, and his guests were meant to sit. One of the bouncers told him that the table was reserved and he needed to leave.

China’s first female pilot of a J-10 fighter jet, Yu Xu, died during a training exercise yesterday Saturday November 12th. According to the Chinese Air Force. Yu was a pilot of the August 1st Aerobatic Team, which is affiliated to the Air Force.

LIST OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES FOR THE NIGERIAN NAVY BASIC TRAINING SCHOOL BATCHES 25 (A AND B) 1.      The under listed candidates were successful in the 2016 Nigerian Navy Recruitment Exercise conducted nationwide.  The candidates are to report for training in 2      different batches at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne Port Harcourt as follows:           a.      NNBTS Batch 25 A     -        6 Nov 2016.           b.      NNBTS Batch 25 B     -        21 May 2017. 2.      Candidates that fail to report 7 days after the indicated dates will be disqualified. Why we cancelled declaration of Niger Delta Republic – Adaka Boro Avengers

A militant group, the Adaka Boro Avengers, ABA, said yesterday that it has cancelled earlier plan to declare the Niger Delta territory a Republic today (Monday). The militant, however, threatened to continue its mission to destabilize Nigeria’s economy. Recall that ABA had July 17 issued a three-week notice of its intention to declare the Niger Delta a Republic on August 1.
